The successful candidate will take on the responsibility of managing and directing a team of civil/structural engineers. The team encompasses expertise in the field of blast, telecoms, security and counter-terrorist measures and all traditional materials and architectural space planning. The majority of our work is by way of direct appointments by the client and typically will be multi-disciplined appointments. Whilst reporting directly to the Board, this is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to demonstrate good man-management and negotiation skills, project manangement abilities and technical expertise, and a desire to drive the department and MFD's reputation forward. Chartered Civil/Structural Engineers - Permanent PositionsPosted: May 2008 Chartered or near chartered status civil/structural engineers are required to work on a variety of projects within the UK. Primarily the role will be to work with the minimum of supervision, managing your own projects within the telecom and security engineering section. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate sound engineering knowledge, design and analytical competence. An ability to produce clear, concise engineering reports and specifications is essential. Training will be provided to design, analyse, and safely climb masts and towers to conduct inspections.
